Zaatar Butter Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp za’atar
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)

Instructions

Pop the Popcorn

Use an air popper or stovetop method to pop the popcorn kernels.

Make the Zaatar Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Stir in za’atar and sea salt.

Coat the Popcorn

Drizzle the za’atar butter over the popcorn and toss to coat evenly. Add a splash of olive oil if desired for extra richness.

Serve

Serve immediately while warm and fragrant.
