Intro
Mini but mighty, these lamb sliders bring the deep, smoky warmth of shawarma spice into tender kofta patties. Tucked into slider buns with yogurt sauce and crunchy pickled onion, they make a memorable starter or main course bursting with flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground lamb
- 2 tsp shawarma meat spice
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
For serving:
- 8 mini slider buns
- 1/4 cup pickled onions
- 1/4 cup yogurt or tahini sauce
Instructions
- Mix the Kofta
In a bowl, combine lamb, shawarma spice, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix gently by hand.
- Form and Cook
Shape into 8 small patties. Grill or pan-sear over medium heat for 5–6 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through.
- Assemble Sliders
Toast slider buns. Spread yogurt sauce on each half, add lamb patty and pickled onions.
- Serve Warm
Serve immediately while hot.
