These juicy lamb meatballs are brightened with ground loomi, garlic, and herbs—served atop creamy yogurt for a perfect sweet-tangy balance.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground lamb
- 1 loomi, finely ground
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- Salt & pepper
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Olive oil, for cooking
Instructions
Mix Meatballs
- In a bowl, combine lamb, ground loomi, garlic, parsley, cumin, salt and pepper.
- Form into 16 small meatballs.
Cook Meatballs
- Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-high.
- Add meatballs and cook, turning, until browned and cooked through (~12 min).
Prepare Yogurt Sauce
- In a small bowl, whisk together yogurt and lemon juice. Season to taste.
Serve
- Plate meatballs over yogurt sauce. Drizzle with pan juices.
