Biryani-Spiced Hummus

Intro

This hummus is infused with the complex layers of Biryani spice for a rich, earthy twist. It’s perfect for dipping, spreading, or spooning onto bowls.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups canned chickpeas, rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Biryani spice
  • Salt, to taste
  • Water, to thin

Instructions

  • Blend lemon juice, garlic, and tahini until creamy.
  • Add chickpeas, olive oil, Biryani spice, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  • Add water as needed to reach desired consistency.
  • Transfer to a bowl and drizzle with olive oil.

Serving Suggestion

Garnish with paprika or parsley. Serve with flatbread or sliced veggies.
