Ingredients

  • 4 bell peppers, tops cut and seeds removed
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 small onion, sautéed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Aleppo pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: cooked ground turkey or lentils

Instructions

1.Preheat the Oven
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2.Prepare the Filling
In a bowl, mix together all the filling ingredients until well combined.

3.Stuff the Peppers
Fill each pepper with the mixture and place them upright in a baking dish.

4.Bake the Peppers
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and slightly golden on top.

Serving Suggestion:
Serve with yogurt-dill sauce or a crisp green salad.
