Zaatar Marinated Chicken Skewers
These Zaatar Marinated Chicken Skewers bring bold flavor to your grill. Juicy pieces of chicken are soaked in a creamy, tangy zaatar yogurt marinade, then charred to perfection. Ideal for summer gatherings or a flavorful weeknight meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cubed
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp zaatar
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, zaatar, salt, and pepper. Add chicken and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to 4.
- Prepare for Grilling
Preheat grill or grill pan over medium heat. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers.
- Grill the Skewers
Grill chicken for 5–7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked with nice grill marks.
- Serve
Remove from grill and let rest a few minutes before serving.
