Ingredients

For the Salad

  • 3 cups mixed greens (such as arugula, spinach, or baby kale)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • ¼ red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • ¼ cup toasted almonds or walnuts

For the Sumac Vinaigrette

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground sumac
  • ½ teaspoon honey or maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Vinaigrette
    In a small bowl or jar, combine olive oil, lemon juice, sumac, and honey. Season with salt and pepper. Whisk or shake until emulsified and smooth.
  2. Assemble the Salad
    In a large mixing bowl, add the greens, sliced strawberries, red onion, feta, and nuts. Pour the dressing over just before serving and gently toss to combine.
  3. Finish and Plate
