Shawarma-Spiced Fish Tacos

Delicate fish fillets get a Middle Eastern makeover with shawarma spice before meeting crunchy slaw and creamy yogurt sauce—tacos with flair.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. white fish fillets (cod, tilapia), cut for tacos
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1½ teaspoons shawarma meat spice
  • 8 small tortillas
  • Slaw: shredded cabbage, cilantro, lime juice, salt
  • Sauce: Greek yogurt + 1 tsp shawarma spice + lemon juice

Instructions

  • Season Fish
    Toss fish with olive oil and shawarma spice.
  • Cook Fish
    Pan-fry over medium-high in olive oil for 3–4 min per side until opaque.
  • Prepare Slaw & Sauce
    Mix slaw ingredients. Stir sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  • Build Tacos
    Fill tortillas with fish, top with slaw and yogurt sauce.
