Shawarma-Spiced Fish Tacos
Delicate fish fillets get a Middle Eastern makeover with shawarma spice before meeting crunchy slaw and creamy yogurt sauce—tacos with flair.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. white fish fillets (cod, tilapia), cut for tacos
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1½ teaspoons shawarma meat spice
- 8 small tortillas
- Slaw: shredded cabbage, cilantro, lime juice, salt
- Sauce: Greek yogurt + 1 tsp shawarma spice + lemon juice
Instructions
- Season Fish
Toss fish with olive oil and shawarma spice.
- Cook Fish
Pan-fry over medium-high in olive oil for 3–4 min per side until opaque.
- Prepare Slaw & Sauce
Mix slaw ingredients. Stir sauce ingredients in a bowl.
- Build Tacos
Fill tortillas with fish, top with slaw and yogurt sauce.
