Shawarma-Spiced Cornbread Muffins

Savory cornbread muffins with a shawarma twist—sweet corn flavor married to warm spice. Great alongside chili or soups.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp chicken shawarma spice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Salt

Instructions

Mix Wet & Dry
Combine dry ingredients. Whisk egg, milk, oil, honey in another bowl. Combine.

Bake
Divide batter into muffin tin. Bake 375 °F for 18–20 min until golden.

Serve
Cool slightly before serving.
