Shawarma-Spiced Chicken & Cheese Quesadillas

This east-meets-west quesadilla is filled with savory shawarma-spiced chicken, melty cheese, and a touch of red onion. Pan-seared to crispy perfection, it’s fast comfort food with a bold twist—great for weeknight dinners or casual snacks.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken
  • 1/2 tsp shawarma meat spice
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Season the Chicken
    Toss cooked chicken with shawarma spice and a drizzle of olive oil in a bowl.
  • Assemble Quesadillas
    Lay out one tortilla, sprinkle half the cheese, top with chicken, red onion, and the remaining cheese. Top with second tortilla.
  • Cook Until Golden
    Heat oil in a skillet over medium. Cook quesadilla 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese melts.
  • Slice and Serve
    Cut into wedges and serve hot.
