Shawarma-Spiced Cheesy Grits

Ingredients

  • 1 cup quick-cooking grits
  • 4 cups water or milk
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon shawarma meat spice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Cook Grits
    Bring water/milk to boil in saucepan. Slowly whisk in grits and cook per package, stirring until thick.
  • Flavor and Finish
    Stir in butter, cheese, shawarma spice, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
  • Serve
