Pepper Roasted Chickpeas

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Aleppo pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Dry the Chickpeas

  • Pat chickpeas dry with a paper towel for maximum crispiness.

Season the Chickpeas

  • In a bowl, toss chickpeas with olive oil, Aleppo pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and salt.

Roast

  • Spread chickpeas on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Roast for 20–25 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until golden and crisp.

Cool and Serve

  • Let cool slightly before serving.
