Loomi-Pickled Red Onion
Quick-pickled red onions spiced with Loomi—tangy, crisp, and aromatic. A versatile condiment for tacos, salads, sandwiches, or grilled dishes.
Ingredients
- 1 large red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Loomi spice
Instructions
- Prepare brine
Combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and Loomi in a jar; stir to dissolve.
- Pack onions
Add onions; press to submerge in brine.
- Pickle
Cover and refrigerate 1–2 hours (best after overnight).
