Jordanian Thyme White Bean Soup
A warming, hearty soup where creamy white beans and lemony Jordanian thyme come together with garlic and olive oil. Perfect for cozy evenings or light lunches.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cans white beans, drained
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 tsp Jordanian thyme
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Sauté Aromatics
Heat olive oil. Sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Simmer the Soup
Add beans, broth, Jordanian thyme, chili flakes, and lemon juice. Simmer 20–25 minutes.
- Blend (Optional)
Blend half the soup for a creamy texture. Season to taste and serve.
