Jordanian Thyme Savory Pancakes

Fluffy savory pancakes infused with cheese and Jordanian thyme make a great alternative to sweet brunch options.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup grated cheese
  • 1 tsp Jordanian thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Make the Batter
    Whisk all ingredients until smooth.
  • Cook the Pancakes
    Pour into greased skillet in small rounds. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
  • Serve
    Top with labneh or fried egg.
