Jordanian Thyme Halloumi “Fries”
These crispy halloumi sticks are tossed in a Jordanian thyme crust and fried to perfection. Ideal for mezze or party platters.
Ingredients
- 200g halloumi, cut into sticks
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp Jordanian thyme
- Olive oil for pan-frying
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Season and Dredge
Toss halloumi in flour and Jordanian thyme.
- Fry the Cheese
Pan-fry in olive oil until golden on all sides.
- Serve
Serve hot with lemon wedges or chili honey.
