Harissa-Spiced Savory Granola

This savory granola offers a bold twist on the classic sweet version. Moroccan Harissa spice brings a smoky, spicy depth to a crunchy mix of oats, seeds, and nuts. Perfect for sprinkling over salads, soups, or yogurt for a surprising layer of heat and texture.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup mixed seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, sesame)
  • ½ cup chopped almonds or cashews
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or date syrup
  • 1 ½ tsp Moroccan Harissa spice
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat and Mix
    Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). In a bowl, combine oats, seeds, nuts, olive oil, syrup, harissa, and salt.
  • Bake
    Spread mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes, stirring halfway, until golden.
  • Cool and Store
    Cool completely before storing in an airtight jar.
