Harissa Hot Chocolate

This decadent hot chocolate gets a spicy Moroccan upgrade. The warmth of Harissa mingles with dark chocolate and cinnamon, offering a luxurious drink with just enough heat to surprise and delight.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk (or plant milk)
  • 2 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Moroccan Harissa spice
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp honey (or sugar), to taste

Instructions

  • Heat the Milk
    Warm milk in a saucepan until steaming.
  • Melt and Mix
    Add chocolate, cocoa, harissa, cinnamon, and honey. Whisk until smooth and melted.
  • Serve
    Pour into mugs and top with cinnamon or a pinch of extra harissa if desired.
