Harissa & Honey Glazed Pears with Walnuts
Pears roasted until tender are glazed with a bold mix of harissa, honey, and butter, then topped with crunchy walnuts. Sweet, spicy, fruity — it’s an elegant dessert with Moroccan character.
Ingredients
- 4 firm pears, halved & cored
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp Moroccan harissa spice
- Pinch of salt
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven
Heat to 375 °F (190 °C).
- Make glaze
Stir butter, honey, harissa, and salt.
- Brush pears
Place pears cut side up in baking dish; brush with glaze.
- Roast
Bake 18–20 minutes until tender.
- Top
Sprinkle walnuts onto pears; serve immediately.
