Harissa Butter Shrimp Rolls
This seafood sandwich gets a fiery upgrade with shrimp sautéed in harissa-laced butter. Served in a toasted bun with a lemony slaw, it’s a flavor bomb that reimagines the classic lobster roll with North African flair.
Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp Moroccan Harissa spice
- Salt to taste
- 4 soft rolls or brioche buns
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Make the Slaw
Combine cabbage, mayo, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
- Cook the Shrimp
Melt butter in a skillet. Add harissa and shrimp. Cook 5–6 minutes until pink and coated.
- Assemble Rolls
Toast buns, fill with slaw and shrimp. Serve immediately.
