Biryani-Spiced Lentil Soup

Ingredients
- 1 cup red lentils
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Biryani spice blend
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Sauté Aromatics
Sauté onion and garlic in oil. Add carrot, tomato, biryani spice, and turmeric.
- Simmer Soup
Add lentils and broth. Simmer 20–25 minutes until lentils are soft.
- Blend (Optional)
Blend partially for a thicker texture. Season with salt.
