7 Spice Mushroom & Halloumi Flatbread
Earthy mushrooms and salty halloumi meet their match in this crispy flatbread, generously seasoned with 7 spice and layered with flavor. It’s a bold fusion of Middle Eastern comfort and pizza-night fun.
Ingredients
- 2 flatbreads or naan
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- ½ cup diced halloumi
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 ½ tsp 7 spice
- ¼ tsp chili flakes (optional)
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven
Heat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a tray with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Topping
Sauté mushrooms and red onion in 1 tbsp olive oil with 7 spice and salt for 5–7 minutes.
- Assemble the Flatbreads
Top each flatbread with the sautéed mixture and scatter diced halloumi.
- Bake
Bake for 10–12 minutes until crispy and golden.
- Serve
Drizzle with remaining olive oil and sprinkle chili flakes if using.
