7 Spice Grilled Lamb Kofta Lettuce Wraps
These grilled lamb koftas are boldly seasoned with 7 spice and served in crisp lettuce leaves with a cooling cucumber yogurt sauce. It’s a refreshing, satisfying dish ideal for summer grilling or low-carb meals.
Ingredients
Koftas:
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 2 tbsp finely chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 ½ tsp 7 spice
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
For serving:
- Butter lettuce leaves
- Yogurt sauce (yogurt + grated cucumber + lemon + salt)
- Sliced red onion
Instructions
- Make the Kofta Mixture
Combine lamb, onion, garlic, 7 spice, salt, and parsley. Mix well and form into small oval patties.
- Grill the Kofta
Grill over medium heat for 5–6 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
- Assemble the Wraps
Place each kofta in a lettuce leaf with a spoonful of yogurt sauce and onion slices.
- Serve
Arrange on a platter and serve immediately.
