Did you know the woman behind LAMEISE once spent her days leading tech projects at Microsoft? That’s right—before she was turning heads with cardamom-scented pastries and za’atar-dusted creations, Lamees AttarBashi was a Program Manager with a degree in Computer Engineering and Mechatronics (plus an MBA for good measure). But no matter how many lines of code she wrote, her true calling was always in the kitchen.

Driven by passion (and maybe a little tahini), Lamees traded silicon chips for chocolate chips and earned a diploma in culinary arts from ICCA Dubai. Since then, she’s gone on to become an award-winning TV chef, a bestselling cookbook author, and a vibrant voice for modern Middle Eastern cuisine.

Her food journey has taken her from the UK to the UAE, across Asia, and finally to the USA, collecting techniques, traditions, and flavors along the way. Her hit TV show, “Lamees’s Dining Table,” and her appearances at major food festivals have solidified her place as a culinary force with a mission: to celebrate Middle Eastern culture through bold, beautiful, and flavorful food.

As the founder of LAMEISE, she’s poured her soul into every product, making sure each product tells a story—and every customer feels like they’re part of something meaningful. Lamees is not just our flavor curator, creative director, and recipe queen—she’s the reason LAMEISE exists.

She left the corporate world to follow a calling—and turned that dream into a brand that makes kitchens feel like home.

By profession, Muthana is a seasoned Senior Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager with over 15 years of experience designing some of the most complex and iconic buildings in the world—from supertall skyscrapers in Dubai to cutting-edge healthcare facilities in California. With a sharp eye for systems, precision, and long-term strategy, he’s built a career around efficiency, innovation, and big-picture thinking.

At LAMEISE, Muthana brings that same meticulous mindset to all things finance, operations, and growth planning. As our CFO, he manages the behind-the-scenes work that keeps the business thriving—from budgeting and analytics to ensuring we make smart, sustainable decisions for the future.

But when the spreadsheets close, you’ll find him taste-testing everything in our kitchen. A self-proclaimed foodie-in-training, Muthana’s favorite title might just be Chief Flavor Officer. He’s been Lamees’s first recipe critic, late-night brainstorm partner, and quiet force behind turning a passion project into a growing brand rooted in culture, love, and flavor.

He proves that engineering precision and culinary creativity make one powerful combo—and we wouldn’t be LAMEISE without him.
