
Our Journey – Lamees and Muthana
When I met my husband, Muthana, during my studies in Computer Engineering, I found someone who shared not only my love for food but also a deep appreciation for Middle Eastern culture. Our connection was immediate, and together we began to dream of a future that would combine our shared passion with our roots.
After relocating to Dubai, I pursued my culinary ambitions by earning a diploma in Culinary Arts while continuing to work in the tech industry. During this time, I was given the opportunity to host my own cooking show, Lamees’s Dining Table, which allowed me to share our food journey with a wider audience. Despite this success, both Muthana and I felt a pull to create something more—something that would truly reflect who we are and where we come from.

When we moved to the U.S., we quickly realized how difficult it was to find the authentic Middle Eastern flavors that shaped our upbringing. Leaving our war-torn countries and starting anew far from family and community was not easy, but it strengthened our resolve. Together, we decided to channel that longing into a mission: to bring the bold, authentic flavors of our heritage to a new home and share them with others who crave the same connection to their roots.
